Ten years ago, I purchased the Ford Falcon as a replacement for my wife, Phyllis, to replace her Taurus wagon because I plan to turn an old car into something new for her. Initially she
drove it without power steering, power brakes, and a carburetor that needed to be finished to keep it from stalling. She finally decided it wasn't for her, but I told her it'd be fixed
for her. I bought a 5.0 Mustang motor with an AOD transmission to replace the ailing six cylinder, added power steering, and 4 wheel power disc brakes to modernize the car. I have
added subframe connectors that I custom built plus a set of custom mounts I made for it. The under carriage was coated with bed liner, which was color matched to the original color. This
winter the car will be painted and the rest of the work finished shortly.
